Privacy policy The Pure Goat Company B.V.

1. About our privacy policy

Without your personal data you cannot place an order with us. We also understand that you do not want your personal information to end up in the hands of others or to be used for purposes unknown to you. In short, we take your privacy seriously.

It is important for you to understand what data we collect from you and what we do with it. You can trust us to handle your data with care and to comply with the law.

This privacy policy applies to the use of our website and any sales made on it by The Pure Goat Company B.V., with the exception of links on our website to third party websites. These external website owners are responsible for the processing of your data. Therefore, our privacy policy does not apply to them.

2. The Pure Goat Company B.V. processes the following data

Data you provide yourself.
This includes the data you provide when registering with The Pure Goat Company. This includes your e-mail address and password, but also your address and telephone number, so that we know where to deliver your order, or can contact you if necessary. Once you order, we also store your order and payment information. Furthermore, you also provide us with data when you call, email or WhatsApp us, or when you get in touch via “social media”, including Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin or Pinterest.

Data that is automatically stored
We automatically collect data from you to make our website work. This includes your IP address, the pages you visit on our website and how much time you spend there, the web browser you use and the “URL clickstream”. The latter means that we store where you digitally come from and go to, when you visit or have visited our website. We also keep track of whether you read our emails and what you click on in those emails. This enables us to make our emails better and more relevant. Finally, we store your telephone number if you give it to us or call us so that we can call you when necessary.

Information obtained from others
In some cases, we combine information from public sources, such as the regions where potential customers may live, with the data of combined groups of customers. This enables us to match our services even better to customer needs.
Would you like to know what we use this data for? Then, please read more under point 3.

3. The Pure Goat Company processes your data for the following purposes

Your account
Using your account at The Pure Goat Company means you can order more easily. If you create an account on our website, we will ask you for certain information. You are not required to fill in all the details, but some information is necessary. This includes your e-mail address, account password, first and last name, postal code, house number and telephone number. You can always modify the data you provide us with.

Your website visit
When you visit our website, we use automatically generated usage information. We do this primarily to make sure that the website functions properly. When you visit our website, we use automatically generated usage information. We may use software to measure and collect visitor data, for example, response times, website errors and interaction data (such as your scroll and click behaviour). We also use this information to secure our website.

In addition, we use information about your previous orders, your IP address and surfing and search behaviour that is stored in cookies. We tell you more about the latter in our cookie policy.

Your orders
If you order formula through our website and want it delivered, we will use the information you provide for this purpose. We also use your order information for statistical research, for example to see which products sell well and which do not. For such analyses, we only use your data on a collective basis, never on an individual basis.

And finally, we use data on your ordering behaviour and the frequency with which you order certain products. This helps us optimise our stock management and enables us, for example, to create offers that may be of interest to you.

Your reviews
After your order has been delivered, we can ask you whether everything was to your satisfaction. This enables us to help you better and more quickly. You decide whether you want to participate and what information you provide. The information you provide will be stored when you place your order. If necessary, we will use your details to respond to your feedback.

Your promotions
We may need additional information from you for future special promotions. We will then link this information to your account in order for you to participate in this special promotion.

Your contact
If you contact us, we may record your contact details and your question or complaint. We use this data to respond to your question or complaint and for our general statistics.

Product recalls
If, for any reason, we need to recall our products, we may use your order information to let you know. This may be necessary for precautionary reasons, or for legal reasons.

Social media
By using a so-called “social plug-in” you can share certain things from our website with others using a social media account (Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Instagram). Cookies may be placed by third parties via these plug-ins. The installation and use of cookies by these third parties is subject to the conditions of the social media platforms in question.

Conversely, you can also contact us through your social media account. In doing so, you may provide us with personal information. We will then use your details to respond, and may combine these with details we already have on file, so that we know what we have talked to you about in the past.

Newsletters, e-mails and other messages
When you create an account, you can indicate whether you want us to communicate with you about our formula products. If you have agreed to this, we may use your contact details to send you messages via email, push notifications, SMS and online platforms such as Facebook, Google and Twitter.

For the latter, we use an advertising ID, such as the IDFA or a Google Advertiser ID. Please see our cookie policy for more information on these advertising IDs, what we do with them and how to disable them.

We may also use your information to personalise these communications, for example, to provide you with promotional offers. Don’t want to receive any more emails? Then you can unsubscribe at the bottom of every mail.

In addition to communicating with you digitally about our products and services, we also use your information to evaluate how our marketing messages perform. We may also use information collected through these cookies in this analysis. For example, we look at how often our emails are opened and how many people click on a button.

4. The Pure Goat Company shares your information with others

We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. The only parties we share data with are:

  1. service providers that we hire in connection with our sales – for example, ICT services such as webhosting and logistics service providers such as parcel delivery companies. We make agreements with them to ensure your privacy and that of our other customers.
  2. regulators such as the tax authorities and police, if they request it.
  3. service providers in the context of a judicial (debt collection) procedure.

5. Security and retention period

We have taken technical and organisational measures to secure your data against loss and other forms of unlawful processing.
The retention period may depend on many factors, including the applicable law. For example, we must retain invoices containing your data for 7 years. If you have any questions about the retention period for certain types of data, please contact us via info@puregoatcompany.com.

6. Your rights

At any time, you can request access to the information we have stored about you and how we use it. You can also change or delete data at any time. Finally, you also have the right to object to our processing of your data.
If you submit a request to access information, or exercise your right to object, we ask that you enclose a copy of a valid identification document. For your safety, please make your BSN number unreadable and passport photo unrecognisable.

7. Changes to the Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy may change. On this page you will always find the most recent version.
