However, we recommend always following the preparation instructions on the packaging and not blindly relying on these devices. Why? Because there are risks associated with their use that could affect your baby's health.
Inaccurate Dosage
An automatic bottle feeder can prepare formula with an incorrect composition, as it may not always accurately measure the right amount of formula powder. This can be caused by various factors, such as: • Incorrect settings, leading to too much or too little powder being used.
• Insufficient cleaning, which can cause the dosage to deviate over time.
• An improperly filled powder container, affecting the dispensing mechanism.
• Parts that are incorrectly installed, causing the machine not to function optimally.
If too little powder is added, your baby may not get enough nutrients, which could lead to growth delays and malnutrition. Conversely, using too much powder can cause tummy cramps and reflux. Babies younger than six months are particularly sensitive to this.

How to Prepare a Bottle
- Wash your hands and make sure the bottle and nipple are clean.
- Pour the cooled, boiled water into the bottle once it has reached a lukewarm temperature (around 40°C).
- Add the correct number of leveled scoops of formula powder to the water in the bottle.
- Screw the lid with the nipple onto the bottle and shake or swirl the bottle until the powder is dissolved. Always check the temperature of the formula on the inside of your wrist.
