Preparing Pure Goat Pap? Here’s how!
Starting with solid foods? Then Pure Goat Pap is a great, gentle choice to begin with. This porridge is specially formulated for babies from 6 months and contains a soft blend of buckwheat, rice, corn, teff, and quinoa – ingredients that are easy to digest and packed with essential nutrients.
You can prepare Pure Goat Pap with warm follow-on milk or breast milk. Warm 200 ml of milk to body temperature.
Want to feed with a spoon? Pour the milk into a bowl and gradually stir in six tablespoons of porridge until smooth. Prefer a bottle? Pour the milk into the bottle and add three tablespoons of porridge while shaking or swirling. Keep in mind that breast milk contains a natural enzyme that may cause the porridge to remain thinner — this is perfectly normal.
From six months onwards, it’s good to gradually introduce your baby to spoon-feeding. This stimulates oral motor skills and supports speech development.
When your baby is ready, you can add pureed fruit such as banana, mango, or pear. From around eight months, small pieces of fruit are also suitable, as long as your baby can chew them well.
You can offer Pure Goat Pap both in the morning and in the evening — as a nutritious start to the day or as a calming evening porridge. Are you giving a bottle? Then it’s perfectly fine to offer this twice a day. Want some variety? Depending on your baby’s age, you can also use Pure Goat Pap in smoothies, fruit purée, cookies, or even pancakes. You’ll find fun and easy ideas in our recipe booklet.
Pure Goat Pap can easily be adapted to your baby’s age and feeding moments — as a bottle feed, spoon-fed porridge, or incorporated into a dish.
Important: use the prepared porridge within one hour and do not reheat or reuse leftovers. This will keep the porridge safe and tasty for your baby.
