Important Information

Frequently Asked Questions
Goat milk is a great alternative to traditional cow’s milk-based infant formula, especially if your baby has a sensitive digestive system or does not respond well to cow’s milk. Goat milk is gentle on little tummies, rich in valuable nutrients, and supports your baby’s well-being.
Benefits of goat milk for babies
Every baby is different. Many babies tolerate goat milk better than cow’s milk.
The mild taste of goat milk is well accepted by babies.
Goat milk is a natural choice if you are looking for an alternative.
Our products are certified organic and made from high-quality organic whole goat milk. We do not use palm oil or fish oil, and our products are GMO-free.
The perfect start with goat milk
Like all baby food manufacturers, we comply with the WHO Code for infant formula. This means that we are not permitted to promote infant formula in our communications.
Breastfeeding is the best nutrition for your baby and is strongly recommended for at least the first 6 months. That is why we prefer to refer to our follow-on formula.
Why choose goat milk baby formula?
Goat milk-based baby formula is not only gentle on digestion but also a sustainable choice. Goat milk production is often more environmentally friendly than cow’s milk production. At the same time, goat milk is a valuable source of vitamins and minerals – ideal for supporting your baby’s healthy growth and well-being.
Goat milk as baby formula – a safe choice
More and more parents are discovering the benefits of goat milk baby formula. Did you know that more goat milk than cow’s milk is consumed worldwide?
Try it for yourself and discover how gentle and nutritious this alternative can be. Our products are specially developed to meet your baby’s unique needs.
We strictly comply with all applicable regulations – because your baby deserves only the best.
Our products, like all organic products, are certified organic according to European standards. All Organic products must meet the same European standards in order to obtain the Organic certificate. This means that independent organisations supervise and check that all rules for organic farming and production of organic foods are being complied with. In the Netherlands, SKAL Biocontrol ensures that all rules are followed: www.skal.nl.
The European logo for organic products on our packaging means
- that crops are grown without chemical pesticides and that also applies to the feed that the goats receive
- that no artificial fertilizers are used
- that products are free of genetically modified ingredients (so guaranteed
GMO-free)
- that dairy goats do not receive (preventive) antibiotics and are not treated with
growth or milk-stimulating hormones
- that dairy goats have more space in the barn and must also be able to go
outside
- that as little waste as possible is produced and that it is reused as much as
possible
Palm oil is mainly produced in Asia and then shipped to Europe. The vast majority of this palm oil is produced in an unsustainable way, at the expense of the environment and the rainforest (see, for example, the websites of WWF or Greenpeace).
Of course, we could also have chosen sustainable palm oil – yes, it does exist, and there is even a well-established international organisation dedicated to it (RSPO). But we consciously chose not to.
You may now be wondering why palm oil is found in so many baby food products. Simply put: because palm oil is very cheap.
We also do not use soybean oil from Brazil or coconut oil from Asia. Why should we source vegetable oils from the other side of the world when we have excellent ingredients right here?
We are a bit more expensive
We are by no means price fighters. But our higher price tag is easily explained. For example, a goat gives an average of 3 litres of milk daily. On average, a cow produces as much as 28 litres per day. Therefore, we need to keep more goats to produce the same amount of milk, which involves incurring various costs, from feeding and mucking out stables to milking. We invest a lot of time and money in finding the best quality ingredients. Ideally organic. These are rarely - well, actually never - the cheapest ingredients.
So, that’s why.
Organically certified
You can't just sell a product as "organic". The organic label is protected by law and may only be used for products that meet the legal requirements for the production process and composition. These requirements are the same for all EU countries. Very convenient, as you can be sure that everyone follows the same regulations. Would you like to know more?
